Memorial day’s weekend markets

Artfuls showing up on the Memorial day’s weekend at three places. In a new weekend boutique market at the chic and Green (LEED-registered) Metropolitan Green pop-up retail space in Williamsburg thorough 4 days (05.28-31) from 12-8pm.
Also on Saturday at Brooklyn Flea in Fort Green and first appears at Young Designers Market in Manhattan Mulberry street.

Cellux group

They form, create, mend, design and recycle.
The group includes art&crafts, fine artist, sociologist, psychologist and gardener. They concieve art programs mainly for childrens to think together about the essential questions of the surrounding world and theach them to be conscious of their enviroment.

Urban CAMOU flage by Beatrix Feher

The CAMOU brand as collection first appeared in the spring of 2007. In case of  the sporty and elegant garments ranging from women’s and men’s clothing to accessories, she laid emphasis on functionality as well as style.

The basic concept is the fusion of fashion and photography mainly focused on urban scene, being transposed onto fabric through a special “screening” technique.

Her main objective is to create harmony with varios shapes, pictures, meanings and colours.

Ibolya Morvay

Ibolya Morvay has a 20-year old history in design industry bedighted with many design awards and  successful exhibitions.

She has developed an unique technique and representing  her amazing textile-ribbon jewel family. She began her carrier with establishing a small manufactory producing handmade, unique accessories from leather.  At the turn of the century she started to lookforward new challenges.  She has turned toward of embroidery and found new media in twist, ribbon and representational compositions made by little stitches and folding.

These jewels designed by Barbara Scheiring. She’s been designing mixed media jewel and other unique accessories since 2009. As permanent material  using textile, fusing  with  her photos.

She  likes to experiment with extraordinary combination of  several  fabrics and techniques.  Inspired by the pure and perfect beauty of nature, by colorful cultures and traditions, by the endless world of tales and fables and  the unexhaustible possibilities residing in textile. In her artwork she is catching little forgotten beauties and inspiring, etheric moments, forming them into jewels,  wearable specialities.
